NORTH WEST RACE DAY: 8TH JUNE 2018

The North West Race Day was held on Friday 8th June at Haydock Park Race Course.

ANNOUNCING DEMO EXPO 2019

The NFDC are pleased to confirm that the next Demo Expo is confirmed for 2019! The show will run from Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th July 2019 at the Hertfordshire Showground.

Howard Button CEO commented “Our members voted in favour of re-running Demo Expo, and we are delighted to be able to announce the details. More information including how to book will be released over the coming weeks.”

MR. FRANCISCO COBO, NEW PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN DEMOLITION ASSOCIATION, EDA

In the frame of the European Demolition & Decontamination Annual Convention 2018, held in June 7-9 in Vienna (AUSTRIA), EDA named Francisco Cobo as new president of the association.

The European Demolition Association, EDA, has a new president:
Mr. Francisco Cobo.


NFDC JOINS THE CHARTER FOR BUILDING MENTAL HEALTH

The National Federation of Demolition Contractors and the NDTG recently joined the Charter for Building Mental Health.

In brief, the principles of the charter are:

  • To provide awareness and understanding via facilitated workshops
  • Enable and educate champions across the workforce
  • Provide access to Mental Health First Aid training
  • Recognise and accept education and training

Keltbray Group; the UK leading specialist contractor, which offers engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation, rail, environmental services and reinforced concrete structure solutions, today announced an expansion of its specialist asbestos management services division, Keltbray Environmental Solutions (KES) to Wales and the South West. To support the expansion, Keltbray has opened a new office in Riverside Industrial Park in Pontypridd, Wales, as part of a strategy to increase coverage for its asbestos management solutions across the UK.
