The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity launched their hard hitting and poignant ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ campaign last month aiming to raise awareness of mental wellbeing issues in our industry and more importantly, how our workforce can reach out for help.
This is a reminder that ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ is a long-term campaign to get the construction industry talking, not just during Mental Health Awareness Week – resources are still available to download free of charge so that everyone can get involved. There are a variety of poster sizes to choose from and NFDC has added their logo to show they are proudly supporting the campaign.
You can download the NFDC endorsed poster series here, further resources from the campaign website and you can access a comprehensive range of Mental Health and Wellbeing information from NFDC’s Mental Health Hub.
Companies can get involved by downloading their free posters and displaying them both within their sites and offices and also on site hoarding to make a really big impact. The charity is then urging everyone to take photos of their posters in situ and post them on social media to raise as much awareness as possible.
The Lighthouse Club charity provides a 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline which provides a range of free and confidential wellbeing support services and this is complemented by their free Construction Industry Helpline App which offers expert guidance on a huge variety of wellbeing issues.
