Since becoming a Director of Squibb in 1991, Les has overseen the company as it has gone from strength to strength to now become a market leader in its specialist field of demolition and associated works.
Has worked in the demolition and dismantling industry since leaving school and has undertaken a wide spectrum of contracts within the United Kingdom. The projects managed have included the demolition of a major city centre, airports, power stations, large breweries, petro chemical plants, railway bridges and stations, motorway bridges, hospitals, schools, tower blocks and large industrial estates.
He was already conversant on the CDM regulations when they were implemented in 1994 as he managed the dismantling of the end of terminal 1 in Heathrow Airport for BAA. These works were used as an example to the building industry on how to manage works under the CDM regulations.
