The 2024 NFDC Awards’ Guest Speaker is former Welsh rugby player, television commentator and media personality Jonathan ‘Jiffy’ Davies!

Jonathan Davies, renowned for his distinguished rugby career was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), for his remarkable services to the sport.

Davies has not only left a mark on the sporting world but has also emerged as a humanitarian figure.

With his incredible work with Cardiff’s Velindre Cancer Centre, his selfless dedication to supporting those battling cancer underscores a deep empathy for the struggles of cancer patients in and outside of their treatment.

It was these unwavering efforts to help people with cancer that was recognised and elevated him to an Officer of the Order (OBE) in 2015.

The NFDC are excited for Jonathan Davies to speak at the upcoming AGM and Awards Ceremony, drawing from his experience to offer his insights into the transformative power of determination, resilience, and empathy in the pursuit of success.
