Those who commission demolition projects may not fully realise the robust audit processes and standards that are required of NFDC accredited demolition contractors.
In addition to carrying out rigorous NFDC annual site audits, NFDC members are expected to comply with Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP) standards. Many of our 140 accredited contractors have gained additional third party accreditations to further demonstrate their superior health and safety compliance.
NFDC members are also required to train their workforce to CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) level and participate in continuous professional development.
Every month, NFDC publishes a list of members achieving an NFDC Site Audit pass and/or SSiP pass. This is no mean feat!
