The NFDC has signed the Armed Forces Covenant; pledging support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. This commitment includes recognising military skills in recruitment, supporting reservists and cadet leaders, and promoting Armed Forces-friendly policies.
Given the federation origins during World War II, when demolition experts assisted in making bomb-damaged buildings safe, this pledge honours our longstanding connection to the Armed Forces.
