NFDC members Brown and Mason are undertaking a massive 12-week, 1022 mile challenge of running, swimming, and cycling to raise money for the Lighthouse Club construction industry charity.
The 1022 miles represents the distance from their Longannet site at the top of the country, down past all other Brown & Mason sites, including their head office, to their furthest site in Gelderland, The Netherlands.
Money raised will be going towards the Lighthouse Club, who are the only charity who provide mental, physical, and financial wellbeing support dedicated to the construction and demolition community, as well as their families.
This enormous feat is being undertaken by 27 determined team members from Brown & Mason who are aiming to complete the distance in just 12 weeks through a combination of running, swimming, and cycling.
The team of fundraisers will be updating their progress via Strava to show how they’re getting on, and by updating a map representing their progress between sites.
You can support the team’s efforts and the Lighthouse Club by donating via their Just Giving page until the end of August.
