This spring’s round of NFDC regional meetings once again highlighted the incredible generosity and community spirit of our members. We express our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for their outstanding support and contributions.
L&SC: members donated £1,000 to Mesothelioma UK, £1,000 to The Meadowside Charity in Newton Abbot, and £1,000 to Children’s Hospice Southwest, supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
NE: contributed £2,500 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and £1,000 to the Royal British Legion, recognising Rachael Blount from B&B Industrial Dismantling‘s participation in the Marathon des Sables.
NW: members donated £7,960 to The Salford Foundation Trust, supporting the aspirations of children, young people, and their families facing financial hardships.
M&W: made impactful donations, including £1,000 to the Stamford Food Bank, £2,500 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and £2,000 to the HCPT Charity. They also pledged £2,000 to Shining Stars, a Caerphilly charity for disabled and disadvantaged children, and £2,000 to the 2Wish charity, supporting families who have lost a child.
S&NI: members made a donation of £5,000 to food banks and supported the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow with £1,000 in hobby and craft gift vouchers. Additionally, they donated £500 to a charity golf day benefiting the Cash For Kids Charity.
These donations highlight our industry’s compassion and commitment to positive impact. We thank all members for their continued generosity and dedication.
