The ISP meeting was held on 15th May at the Holiday Inn, Hemel Hempstead.
Members were presented with the findings of the two Demo Expo 2017 surveys (ISPs and Corporate Members). The room agreed to running the expo again in 2019, and for the show to remain at the Herts County Showground. It was also noted that the show should avoid Ascot week. NFDC will confirm the dates of the 2019 show and circulate them in the next few weeks. Finally, there were suggestions that the show should partner with a waste/recycling show to improve footfall and interest at the show.
In the discussion around voting an ISP representative to bring forward issues at National Council, it was agreed a survey would be circulated to all ISP members. The survey was circulated, and the results are: Yes (in favour): 26, No (against): 2. NFDC will be communicating next steps in the coming weeks.
Finally, Martin O’Donnell talked on behalf of Howard asking for feedback on the proposed Plant + training courses.
The next meeting date is to be confirmed.
