MPs told Institute of Apprenticeships to cost £8 million to run

Whilst giving evidence to the parliamentary committee on Technical and Further Education Bill the ‘shadow Chief Executive’ of the Institute for Apprenticeships (IoA), Peter Lauener, provided details of the new body. He said the IoA will likely have around 60 staff (but that this could rise by another 30 or so personnel as the IoA takes on additional responsibilities) and will have running costs of approximately £8m per year.
