Member Alert – Scam Emails

Dear Members,

It has come to our attention that some NFDC Members have been receiving suspicious emails masquerading as ‘National Federation of Demolition Contractors’, asking that NFDC Members update their status via a Dropbox link to receive a new membership pass, or risk being removed from the association.

To confirm, these emails are scams and have not been sent by NFDC.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS.
PLEASE DELETE AND BLOCK THESE EMAILS.

Looking to the sender address of these scam emails, you can see the actual email address they are being sent from – we are so far aware of: ‘johnirvine56@yahoo.com’, though there may be other sender email addresses that we are not yet aware of.

NFDC has advised our IT partners of the situation, but unfortunately, there is very little that can be done to prevent or stop scam emailers imitating the Federation. If you are ever in any doubt as to the legitimacy of an ’NFDC email’, please contact us for clarification and do nothing with the email in question.

Thanks as always for your support and understanding.

Stay Safe,
NFDC
