DEMOLITION DOES THEIR BIT TO HELP PROTECT FRONT-LINE WORKERS DURING COVID-19
Paul Ford of DE Group and Paul Cluskey, Managing Director of NFDC Member Company, Cantillon, have been supporting and promoting the much needed appeal for PPE equipment for frontline NHS staff, donating and transporting equipment as much as they can.
In addition, NFDC Members including Newline and Howard Stott, have been supporting NHS and local communities with getting their own stocks of vital PPE to those directly fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Knowing the generosity of NFDC Members, even in the face of adversity, NFDC is sure there are more PPE donations and acts of kindness that we don’t yet know about – please tell us how you’re helping the NHS and your local communities by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org. Let’s lead the sector by example and show our support.
NEWLINE HEARS FIRST-HAND OF NHS PPE SHORTAGE
Midlands based NFDC Member Company, Newline, has been donating their stock of FFP3 masks to The Harley St Cancer Clinic, Princess Grace Hospital (where John Lynch’s doctor daughter reports of the lack of PPE), the NHS Medical Centre at Sileby Leicester and the Leicester Children’s Hospital at The Leicester City Royal Infirmary.
John Lynch encourages all fellow Members to help equip frontline workers with protection against COVID-19 where they can.
HOWARD STOTT RECEIVES EMOTIONAL LETTER APPEALING FOR PPE.
Howard Stott is giving as much PPE as they can to a local support group collecting on behalf of their local NHS Hospital where they are working without PPE.
The support group is prepared to drive anywhere in the country to collect PPE for the people who are fighting to save COVID-19 patients lives and are fearful of taking the virus home to their own families. They are most desperate for FFP3 masks for staff and surgical masks for patients.
CANTILLON DONATES AND DE GROUP LINKS WITH NHS COVID-19 TASK FORCE.
“We were alarmed to hear that NHS Charing Cross lacked basic PPE such as masks, glasses, overall’s, gloves – items that we all expect them to have at their disposal in abundance, they do not.”
The team at Cantillon have made an initial contribution to NHS Charing Cross and sent them 1500 FFP3 masks, 300 sets of overalls, glasses and gloves. We have received support from many other contractors, but we need others to help urgently. No offer is too big or small.
