‘All over the world we are seeing near constant news surrounding inequalities in so many areas. These include but are not limited to race, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation among others AND of course those who live with mental ill-health conditions.’

On Sunday 10th October, we recognise World Mental Health Day, which this year takes a focus on ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World’. Mental ill-health can affect, and does affect, individuals from all walks of life, no matter their personal circumstance, race, gender or religion, an issue which Mental health & Wellbeing expert David Price delves into in a short article for World Mental Health Day.

As ever, Mental Health & Wellbeing remains one of NFDC’s key areas of focus, and as such we encourage our members to take a moment to read the article and to remember that NFDC’s Mental Health Hub is always available via the NFDC’s website, which contains a whole host of information, articles, videos and more, for both employees and employers.
