Safedem drives significant donation to Supertroop Charity

NFDC’s Scotland & Northern Ireland region recently nominated deserving charity, Supertroop, who provide residential breaks for young people with learning disabilities, to receive a charitable donation.

NFDC Member William Sinclair, of Dundee based demolition firm, Safedem, has long championed and supported the charity – from encouraging the charity’s start-up back in January 2017, to campaigning for financial support and spreading the word about the organisation’s mission.

NFDC has generously donated a significant £10,000 to Supertroop, helping to turn their vision for young people into a reality.

NFDC’s charitable contributions and Members’ ventures make a difference to peoples lives. As a Federation, we are extremely proud of the work our Regions do to support local charities, and of our individual Members efforts, like William’s, to ensure worthy causes are recognised and supported.

Supertroop recently shared their thanks to William and NFDC, along with a report of their first residential break where 16 young people experienced new activities to enrich their lives, made possible by the support of NFDC and other generous organisations.
